The Apprentice Boot Camp was a project developed by NovaSkill and jointly funded by the NSW Government and the Australian Government and administered by the NSW Department of Education and Training. The Apprentice Boot Camp assisted out of work apprentices recommence their apprenticeship.
The Apprentice Boot Camp ran for approximately 3 months and in that time assisted several apprentices back into their trade and several more back into paid employment or training.
As the current economic conditions are more buoyant than mid 2009 when the concept of the Boot Camp was first floated the need for this intensive assistance thankfully has declined. As a result the Apprentice Boot Camp project has been suspended at this time.
